Welcome back, Helsingers. At the top of the hour, Michaela’s plans appear to be back on track. She’s successfully used Olivia as a vessel for the Dark One. She’s ready to wield her newfound power through Dracula, but there’s just one huge problem. Michaela has no idea the ancient power that she’s trifled with. The Dark One quickly makes clear who is in control.

Hit play and listen in as Brad and Cort break down ep 5×03, “Lumina Intunecata”. Jack and Bathory put their heads together for a pretty solid plan to take down Michaela and the Dark One. It almost works, but for the Dark One having an unexpected ace up her sleeve. She resurrects Michaela and soon has another bride once she finally turns Bathory. 

The show continues weaving in elements and making amazing connections between our Van Helsings and Olivia’s bloodline. Were you shocked when baby Kristoff was renamed, Jack Van Helsing? What happens to our Jack? Is she stuck in the past until another portal opens or will she live through the ages and reappear in present day? The Dark One and Bathory since the changes made in the past. Dracula has lost some of her power, thanks to Jack siphoning away some of her darkness. Time for Vanessa and the gang to finish the job?
