Superstore series finale: 6×14 “Perfect Store” and 6×15 “All Sales Finals” aired March 25, 2021.
“Cloud 9 is now closed.” And with it, Superstore ended after 6 seasons. The show was cancelled a few months ago — and yet the writers still managed to write a finale that beautifully wrapped up everyone’s story. From Amy coming home and standing up for her coworkers to Elias being a serial killer, a lot of great things went down in the series’ last 2 episodes.
Here are some of our favorite moments from this Superstore series finale:
#5 The very last meeting.
What’s an episode of Superstore without a staff meeting? They’ve always been a huge part of the show, even though the Cloud 9 employees rarely talked about work during those. Which is actually what made them so fun. This very last meeting was no different. With Amy back in the store, the focus quickly shifted from the important issue at hand (aka. the store possibly closing) to her relationship with Jonah.
And, of course, everyone had something to say about it.

#4 Marcus and Sandra.
Okay, they’re people, not a moment. But still — who would have thought they (as well as some other secondary characters) would become one of the best parts of Superstore as the years went by? Both Marcus and Sandra had their time to shine in the series finale.
First, when Marcus discovered the bag of feet. Then, when Sandra picked Dina’s team when she couldn’t do it and hired herself as assistant manager. Those were truly iconic moments for these characters.
Sandra’s scene, in particular, showed how much she grew over the years. It also showed how much her relationship with Dina changed — remember when Dina hated her?!

#3 The interview tapes.
Finales are often a time to reminisce about the past. And, well, Cloud 9 closing was a good opportunity for that too. This is why Glenn decided to show his employees some tapes from when they interviewed for the job. A sweet gesture that led to even sweeter moments.
Indeed, Mateo found a new job thanks to Glenn who hired him. Dina and Garrett officially got back together, in a very Dina/Garrett way. Jonah’s tape pushed Amy to go after him…

#2 Our favorite couples finally getting back together.
… Which lead to another great part of this Superstore series finale: the romance.
We knew Amy was coming back, but we didn’t know whether or not she and Jonah would end up together. He was still with Hannah in the first of the last two episodes, after all. And even after they broke up and Amy told him she made a mistake not marrying him, Jonah still wasn’t sure he wanted to start over.
Thankfully, they did find their way back to each other. After Amy made one of the most beautiful speeches about how Jonah made her life better. Of course he had to kiss her after that!
This means all the main couples got their happily ever after, including Eric and Mateo. What more is there to ask for?!

#1 The final montage and Garrett’s speech.
Montages and flashforwards aren’t the most original way of ending a show. They are, however, one of my absolute favorites. There’s truly nothing better than knowing our favorite characters will remain close in the future, no matter what. Especially for a sitcom, where we usually expect a happy ending.
This particular ending, happening in a post-pandemic world, also gave a sense of hope that we, too, will be able to meet with our loved ones again someday soon. I know I can’t wait for that day to finally happen.
Bonus point for that “moment of beauty” callback (and all the other callbacks to the pilot throughout the episode) with the stars on the ceiling of Jonah and Amy’s kids’ room. It really all came full circle.
