‘The Expanse’ Ep 5×10 “Nemesis Games” dropped Feb 3, 2021
Now that’s how you do an epic end to an awesome season of twists. We’ve been left hanging for several episodes, worrying that this might be the end for Naomi. Dominque Tipper needs to win all the awards for her portrayal of the character. Naomi was hurt, but fought throughout not to ensure her own survival, but to keep her Roci family safe. She was so close to clinching that flawless victory. Then we realized just how Cas Anvar would be leaving ahead of the final season.
Hit play and listen in as Brad and Cort break down Ep 5×10, “Nemesis Games”. Space battles and all-out mutiny against Marco. This episode was supremely satisfying as it wove together several story threads and lead us into the final moments of the season. Naomi and her crew have been reunited. They mourn the loss of Alex, but are hopeful. Of course, Marco is still lurking and causing all kinds problems for his enemies.
There’s still a huge question surrounding Filip and his loyalty to his father. Yes, he’s upset that Naomi left him again. Sure, they didn’t leave her much choice, but who cares about details. Still, that time with Naomi has to have opened Filip’s eyes about his father’s true nature and motivation. Here’s seeing how that develops further next season.
