‘The Stand’ recap: Brad & Cort Talk Ep 1×07, “The Walk”

The Stand, Ep 1×07, “The Walk” aired Jan 28, 2021 

Mother Abagail has spoken and time for a long journey. She wants her remaining chosen to make their way to New Vegas. Well, everyone except Frannie are told to hit the road. They’re not allowed to take food, water, or anything except the clothes on their backs. The group, still grieving from losses in the explosion and for Mother Abagail, say their goodbyes and hit the road.

Hit play and listen in as Brad and Cort break down ep 1×07, “The Walk”.  The Boulder Free-Zone committee members leave not far behind Harold and Nadine. Despite the sweet rides they’ve picked up, Harold doesn’t make it very far on their journey before his partner decides that it’s time to cut him loose. What did you think of Harold’s end? Was it fitting or were you sad to see him go? Nadine jumps headfirst into her own destiny and it’s not even close to what she’d envisioned.

Stu is named the new leader of the group following Nick’s demise, but he doesn’t make the entire journey. As Mother Abagail foretold, Stu literally takes a fall.
