‘The Stand’ recap: Brad & Cort Talk Ep 1×05, “Fear and Loathing in New Vegas”

The Stand, Ep 1×05, “Fear and Loathing in New Vegas” aired Jan 14, 2021

This week, we finally get our first look at Flagg’s New Vegas. Bureaucracy is still a thing as Tom arrives and is initially assigned a work detail that could’ve landed him in a death match. Thankfully, crisis averted. He’s put up on clean-up duty instead. There’s a Flashdance shout out for Dayna as Julie arrives to check out the newbie asking questions about the Man.

Hit play and listen in as Brad and Cort break down ep 1×05, “Fear and Loathing in New Vegas”. Harold and Flagg seem as if they are five steps ahead of everyone else at this point. Harold turns Frannie’s attempts at spying around on her by planting a camera in her bedroom. He’s such a perv. Nadine is having second thoughts, but Larry turns her down when she quite desperately demanded he sleep with her. Larry wants to be with her, but not this way.

Were you as freaked out as Mother Abagail when Flagg’s wolf popped up? Will Tom figure out Dayna’s message before the Man figures out that he’s another spy? Give us a listen and then be sure to drop a comment or in our Facebook group with your thoughts on ep 1×05, “Fear and Loathing in New Vegas”.
