The 100 7×10, Season 7, Episode 10, “A Little Sacrifice” aired on The CW August 5, 2020
There was a lot going on in this episode of The 100. There was a fight, a major death, and let’s not forget about the fastest full Grounder makeover we have ever seen (looking at you Sheidheda’s new hair)! But what really hit us hard in this episode were the emotional moments. Here are the 5 times The 100 7×10 broke our hearts!
Murphy and Madi. John Murphy sure has come a long way. He was the punk that was just there to make trouble that couldn’t seem to die – and we are so happy he survived. Somehow over the course of this show, he has evolved into a leader and someone who cares deeply for others. His relationship with Madi is truly special and that moment where he helps calm her is very heartwarming. He’s giving off some big fatherly energy these days, that’s for sure!
Reunions. Miller and Octavia’s hug was so sweet and so very overdue, but the reunion of Octavia and Clarke was what got us choked up. They are both grieving the loss of Bellamy and have so many things in their shared pasts that they need to talk about, but in that moment they are just happy to see each other.
Broken Levitt. He isn’t perfect, but we have really come to love him. His relationship with Octavia is so so star-crossed. She can’t just be with him, but it’s clear she cares for him. Her instinct was to free him and help him, but she had to stop herself in order to save Echo AND everyone. Levitt knows her and no doubt understands, but it was still sad to see her leave him tied up like that.
Indra kneeling to save Madi. We held our breath during that Indra and Sheiheda fight because OMG! Indra is working so hard to keep everyone safe and alive and that means letting Sheidheda win this one in order to save Madi. She is such an amazing leader. We stan a legend.
DIYOZA! It’s so hard to believe that this character, who was once a villain, has become someone who’s death would make us misty eyed! Diyoza wanted a better life for her daughter and even said so with her last words. Her death is sad because we love her character, but what shattered our hearts the most was Hope’s reaction as she is being pulled to safety. These characters have all dealt with so much, but Hope has really been hit hard in her life and it hurts to watch.
Honorable mention: The Echo/Raven moment and all of the Echo stuff was super emotional. These people all need a nice long vacation after this is over!
What did you think of The 100 7×10? Were you as sad as we were when Diyoza died? DID YOU SEE THAT BELLAMY IS IN THE PREVIEW FOR THE NEXT EPISODE?! We missed him so, so much and can’t wait to see him again! YAY!
