Welcome back, my fellow Fillorians! Time is quickly passing us by as our beloved series is down to just a few more days until the series finale. This week gave us a brilliant musical/heist mash-up in the show’s penultimate episode, “The Balls”. Our favorite Magicians are working overtime to retrieve the World Seed before the Dark King can reunite with his believe.
Hit play and listen in as Brad and Cort break down the episode. This episode had so many awesome callbacks to seasons passed. Bottled feelings and battle magic. While Eliot, Margo and the others worked with Marina to plot out an Ocean’s 8-level heist, Penny and Julia sought out his mother.
How heartbreaking did that turn out for poor Penny? Granted his mother was completely freaked out over hearing those voices and believing that she was losing it. Which song earned top billing as your favorite? That Jade Tailor has some serious pipes. Her next project should absolutely be a rock opera. How about Fen saving the day with her quick thinking?
