This post discusses events up to Legacies 2×13 “You Can’t Save Them All” aired February 13, 2020
Don’t worry, Legacies fans. Just because Kai Parker finally got what was coming to him (for real this time), it doesn’t mean we don’t have more drama to look forward to. With Dark Josie still in the picture, Malivore, and The Necromancer… we have tons of trouble still to come.
How will these new baddies (yes, I’m counting Dark Josie as a baddie) affect our Super Squad? Let’s take a look at what drama we think lurks in the rest of Legacies season 2.
More and more Dark Josie: Now that she’s back from the Prison World, her agenda will become clear.
Let me state this right now: Nothing good comes from black magic. “But Dark Josie was nice enough in the Prison World?” Don’t get it twisted, fans. Dark Josie’s goal in the Prison World was to get out—and she needed all of our Scoobies to do so. Now that she’s safe and sound at the Salvatore School in “our” world, what madness will she cause? I don’t know if she’ll team up with Malivore, start her own war, or simply just walk around looking uh-mazing with that deep brown hair color (can you say Elena Gilbert season 2? #GOALS), but she’ll be stirring up all sorts of madness.
Hope’s vampire side
Hope is always playing the hero, and if we get Dark Josie, and then we better get Evil Hope. We saw a glimmer of this in 1×10 “There’s a World Where Your Dreams Came True”, when Lizzie wishes that Hope never came to the Salvatore School. Remember how badass Hope looked pulling up in her sports car and vibing on alternate-universe Josie? I’m here for it.
This is a bit of a far-reaching theory, but what if the only way to defeat Dark Josie is for Hope to activate her vamp side and go full-on baddie? No idea how the logistics of that would play out, but it would be an iconic battle.
Landon going full-on Phoenix in a battle with a dragon.
Yes, this is random. Yes, I totally stole this from Game of Thrones, but I don’t care. I want to see Landon phoenix-TF-out, and I can’t think of a better way than battling a fire-breathing dragon in the sky.
The Merge: What if one of the twins becomes a Heretic?
OK y’all, I need to brush up on my Heretic knowledge (you can get your 5-minute Gemini catch up in this article), but, I’m wondering if Lizzie and/or Josie becoming a Heretic would wipe out The Merge problem? For reference, if you don’t remember, Heretics are vampires that have witch powers. Remember in last week’s episode Lizzie had unknowingly drank Sebastian’s blood, and when she got into the car accident she was worried she’d die and become a Heretic.
Obviously turning into a vampire would not be ideal (you still technically “die”, so Caroline and Ric don’t want this for their daughters), but what if it’s the only choice? Seeing Lizzie become a vamp is a storyline that would be insane to watch!
