‘Van Helsing’ recap: Brad & Cort Talk Ep 4×13, “The Beholder”

Van Helsing Ep 4×13, “The Beholder” aired on Dec 20, 2019

Welcome back, Helsingers! Phew, how did this season manage to fly by so quickly? Here we are at the season finale and on the cusp of the final chapter of this story. If you haven’t already heard the great news that dropped earlier this week, the show was renewed for a fifth season. Sad news? It will be the final season. While it will be sad to say goodbye, we are grateful that we’ll have a chance for a proper ending for these characters we’ve grown to love. This is especially important given how the S4 finale left us.

Hit play and listen in as Brad and Cort this week’s all-new episode. As Bathory predicted, the Dark One has been freed and the latter stepped right into the President’s shoes. What did you think of the Dark One’s maneuvering? Do you believe that she was telling Violet and Jack the truth about influencing their father from the Dark Realm? Where in the world is Vanessa? What was up with that orange dust that seemed to have such drastic effects on Julius and Axel? What’s the deal with the Sunshine Unit?

Give us a listen and then be sure to drop a comment or in our Facebook group with your thoughts on the episode. You can also send us an email at [email protected]. This week’s episode, “The Beholder” was written by Jonathan Lloyd Walker. The episode was directed by Shannon Kohl.
