Krypton, Ep 2×08, “Mercy” aired on July 31, 2019
Welcome back, Kandorians. Remember that gut wrenching moment of episodes’ past when Lyta Zod was executed right before our eyes? Well, that really did happen and her loved ones and fans have been mourning the characters demise since. Thankfully, they put us all out of our misery this week with a moment of mercy. The Lyta we witnessed die was actually a clone. Dru-Zod himself was devastated over the execution, but he had the secret consolation of knowing that he had the true Lyta locked away in the prison of her own mind.
Hit play and listen in as Brad and Cort break down Ep 2×08 “Mercy”. Did you see that clone twist coming? What did you think about the reveal of Black Mercy? Lyta had everything that she wanted in her fantasy world, but was able to rebel and break free. If you were living in your literal dream world, would you be able to break free as she did? Dru’s plans to use the Black Mercy to control Doomsday can’t end the way he expects right? Can Seg and the others re-establish contact with Wegthor? What happens now that Brainiac has left with Jor-El, father of you know who? Will Seg keep his vow to Nyssa or is that forgotten now that his love has returned?
