‘Agents of SHIELD’: The Coulson and May pick-up lines you NEED to see [VIDEO]
Clark brings his best swagger to SDCC!
At SDCC 2019, we had a chance to chat with Clark Gregg and Ming-Na Wen about Agents of SHIELD. The show is in it’s sixth season now and has announced that next season will be it’s last. May and Coulson have long history and finally made things official before (SPOILER) his death at the end of Season 5. Thankfully, in Season 6 we were able to see flashbacks of their last days together.
In one of the flashbacks, Coulson mentions that he had a pick-up line that he planned to use on May. It wasn’t in the show, but Clark Gregg had a few that he was ready to use and shared them with us! Watch the vid below to see him bust out his best lines on Ming-Na Wen!
While Clark Gregg looked up his epic pick-up lines, we chatted with Ming-Na Wen about the importance of the diversity and female presence on this show. There are so many incredible female characters with rich, developed stories on Agents of SHIELD, something that we need more of on television. She also highlights the diversity of the cast a whole.
We can only hope that the precedent that Agents of SHIELD has set for diversity, female characters and amazing storytelling will continue on TV after the show ends next season. We also hope that Clark Gregg will have the chance to deliver these amazing pick-up lines and more on our TVs, because the world needs these things.
