‘The Magicians’ recap: Brad and Cort Talk 4×13, “No Better To Be Safe Than Sorry”

The Magicians, Ep 4×13 “No Better to Be Safe Than Sorry” aired on April 17, 2019

Welcome back, Fillorians! It’s finale time and boy did our Magicians take us on one helluva final ride until the show returns next year. There’s so much to unpack in this finale. Which explains why we couldn’t shut up about it.

Hit play and listen in as Brad and Cort break down this week’s new episode, “No Better To Be Safe Than Sorry”. By now you know that we lost a MAJOR character in the S4 finale. If you have somehow managed to evade being spoiled and haven’t seen the episode, get thee to your nearest viewing screen and go watch. Be prepared for so major emotions and John McNamara absolutely slid another musical moment in there. The binder continues to be amazing and we want to keep him. Julia’s reaches a crossroads in her existence as a not quite Goddess. Eliot is saved and the world has magic back without the library policing everyone’s use.

What did you think of that moment between Alice and Quentin? Which of our Magicians were you certain we’d be losing before THAT scene happened? How amazing is the music on this show? Is this the last we’ve seen of Penny-40? What exactly happened to Fillory? Where are Josh and Fen? Be sure to drop us a comment below or in our Facebook group with your thoughts on Ep 4×13 “No Better to Be Safe Than Sorry “. You can also email us at [email protected]
