‘Riverdale’ or ‘Heathers’: Who said it?

Greetings and salutations.

Riverdale is getting musical again! This time Archie and his crew will be tackling Heathers, The Musical! The musical isn’t as widely known as the movie (much like Carrie, The Musical – the previous musical choice for Riverdale).

Heathers, the movie is a dark story of a group of teens with sharp, iconic dialogue that find themselves in some crazy and morally sketchy situations. Sound familiar? It should! Riverdale’s very unique dialogue has always given us Heathers vibes!

According to EW, the Riverdale musical episode is set to air March 20th on The CW. “Last year, we had a blast doing Carrie. This year, we wanted to honor another iconic teen movie. Heathers: The Musical is BIG FUN, with great roles for the Riverdale kids,” executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said, according to EW.

We can’t wait to see the Riverdale peeps take on these devious roles, but the dialogue will feel like a natural fit. There is no denying that the style of dialogue in Riverdale and Heathers draws some similarities. Let’s see if you can tell the difference!

Test you knowledge here! Where is this dialogue from – Riverdale or Heathers? Let’s play!
