Welcome back, Helsingers. This week’s episode does a lot of work filling in the rest of Sam’s backstory and how he became our favorite psychopathic vampire. This episode serves up flashback aplenty exploring Sam’s time at that juvenile detention facility that we saw him hunting at last season. We also see the return of one of his victims, Felix. Poor, poor Felix. The kid was never quite right after his encounter with the vampire, but Sam felt the partner that fit him just right for his mission from the Oracle.
