To put it simply, Peter Kavinsky is a dream. He is the romantic lead in Netflix’s latest hit romantic comedy, To All the Boys I’ve Love Before. The movie is an adaptation of Jenny Han’s 2014 novel of the same name. The movie centers on Lara Jean Covey, a reserved young woman who prefers to live her romantic life in her head and avoid the real world complications of it all. (#SameGirl)
Instead of telling the boys that she likes that she has feelings for them, Lara Jean writes them each a letter. These letters aren’t meant for the boys to read, but for Lara Jean to express her heart’s desires without ever having to really do it. She wrote a letter to her camp crush, the boy next door named Josh, a boy she danced with named Lucas, John Ambrose (who may be in the sequel) and Peter Kavinsky.
Lara Jean and Peter shared a kiss in the 7th grade, but Lara Jean never pursued him because her friend at the time liked him. Fast forward to the present and Lara Jean’s letters that she kept so carefully hidden are sent! Peter and Lara Jean soon hatch a plan to make the letter situation work in their favor, but what they didn’t expect was that they would fall for each other.
The movie itself is an absolute gem, and we couldn’t help but fall in love with Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) immediately! Grab a korean yogurt smoothie and enjoy these smile inducing Peter Kavinksy GIFs!
