‘Roswell, New Mexico’ SDCC Teaser Trailer: 3 best moments

At SDCC 2018, the teaser trailer for CW’s Roswell, New Mexico was released and it was everything we wanted and more! It had mystery, aliens, danger, secrets, longing, family drama, and a sunset soaked “almost kiss” that already has us swooning! Let’s break down the 3 best moments of the teaser trailer!

#3 Nathan Parsons as Max

This dude – OMG. This teaser attempts to gloss over the miraculously amazing cluster of awesome that Max is sure to be in this show. Yes, at his core, he’s just an alien that survived the crash who is just trying to make a life for himself in the small, otherwise sleepy town – sure. But if you step back and look at the big Nathan Parsons shaped picture, Max is a the lovelorn, broody, cowboy, alien, cop of our f*cking dreams! We are already obsessed!

#2 Alien Lore

We love us some vamps, but we are super excited and ready to dig into the alien lore of this show (and the source material book series, obvi) The teaser shows the crash and a sampling of the powers that the alien characters have, and it looks awesome. Give us our tin foil hats because we are ready to dive in!

#1 Liz and Max

Holy wow – Jeanine Mason and Nathan Parsons have some intense chemistry in this under two minute teaser. It really only take a few seconds to realize that Max and Liz are going to be endgame and we can’t wait to have our hearts ripped out as they try to navigate their complicated lives in order to get back to each other. That near kiss with the sunset behind them was beyond EPIC. (And that straw scene – HELLO SEXUAL TENSION!) We want more!
