It’s impossible to deny that the Shadowhunters fandom is made up of the most devoted fans to date. After Freeform announced the cancellation of the popular Sci-Fi series, fans immediately started a movement to #SaveShadowhunters on multiple different social media platforms.

In all my years following television, the uproar over Shadowhunters’ cancellation is probably one of the biggest ones I’ve ever seen. It’s clear that this show is important to a lot of people and we’re not up without a fight.

Out of appreciation for the show and it’s fans, let’s take a look at some of the awesome things they’ve managed to accomplish so far.

The hashtag #SaveShadowhunters now has over 10 million tweets on Twitter:

And honestly, that’s just the beginning. More unique ways to save the show are coming out every week. Fans are continuing to use the hashtag #SaveShadowhunters and also participate in daily power hour trends to keep the movement going throughout the day. With a fanbase this big and powerful, it looks like the decision to drop Shadowhunters may not have been a good call on Freeform’s part.

Fans’ efforts to #PickUpShadowhunters is still going strong, and we’re with you! We’ll keep fighting until Shadowhunters finds a new home!
