‘Once Upon a Time’ ships: Scenes that made us swoon

Once Upon a Time is one of those shows were there’s a ship for everyone. With that comes many swoon-worthy moments between these canon couples. For some, you may swoon over everything your ship does. For example, Captain Swan could literally just be standing there, and I’d be like “they’re so cute and perfect.”

Captain Swan

You knew this was coming. Yes, the iconic Captain Swan pancakes was definitley a moment for swooning. Like I am almost positive this scene ruined the entire fandom. While this scene was all kinds of fire emojis, it was also a quiet moment between the couple after everything they’ve been dealing with. A moment where they were “just happy.” I love it so much.

Okay, so I am cheating and adding a second moment between these two because this is my post, and I do what I want. Of course I had already pledged my shipping to Captain Swan the moment they met, but this scene really solidified them for me. I swooned so hard during this scene because they were both so closed off to love, and then Hook literally trades his home for Emma. Despite him being unsure if she would fall into his arms. He did it because he was selfless and loved her, no matter what. And Emma’s walls came crashing down because she realized how much he cares for her. Crying.

If this scene didn’t make you swoon, you don’t have a heart. Snow and Charming were finally awoken from the 28-year-long curse that seperated them, and they were back in each other’s arms. Finally! There true love managed to withstand a curse. That’s some powerful stuff, you guys. There love is just so heartwarming and real that I can’t help when my heart skips a beat for them, especially in this scene. Also, this moment is just simply iconic.

Outlaw Queen

It was like they were the only two in the room. I just liked how happy they made one another, and especially in this scene, Robin looks at Regina like she painted the sky. Is that the right saying? Also, he got to dance with her at a ball, and if that’s not the cutest thing ever, I don’t know what is. They were just so into each other and happy. RIP, Robin. They deserved more.

This gif says it all. It was so sweet how Rumple was just admiring Belle as she aged and looked at her like she was the most beautiful thing. Then he just plays with her strand of gray hair and aw. That was a really heartwarming moment between them. Also, it helped that there was not more lies or darkness between them, and they were just husband and wife. Even if you’re not the biggest fan of them, you cannot not think this is sweet.

Mad Archer

Can we take a moment to appreciate how epic Robyn and Alice’s first date was? They literally went to a bookstore and got coffee together. Also, it was this scene where Robyn gave Alice that bracelet she made. It was a simple gesture, but it was a really meaningful one for them as well. It’s also worth mentioning that after Alice had her episode, Robyn didn’t run from her.

Glass Believer (I think this is the ship name…)

It was the words that Henry said when he proposed to Ella that made my heart soar a little bit. He is an author after all, so it’s not too surprising that he has a way with words. While the engagement was simple, it was right up their alley, and I don’t think it could have gone any other way for them.

Like I said, there’s so many great ships throughout the show. Which ship is your favorite, and which moment makes you swoon? Comment below or send us a tweet!

When she isn't writing for Hollywood News Source, Talk Nerdy With Us or her college's paper, she's drinking too much coffee and probably fangirling over Captain Swan. She also likes to watch Hallmark movies and mercilessly rewatches 'Once Upon a Time'.
