#1. Turns out Wes is shady AF!

We knew that Lauren’s (Natalie Alyn Lind) new friend Wes (Danny Ramirez) had to be too good to be true. Turns out he has a criminal file with Sentinel Services. Lauren points out to her dad that they’re all criminals at this point. This doesn’t stop Reed (Stephen Moyer) from telling Lauren that he wants to question him. He doesn’t get the chance before Lauren takes matters into her own hands. When Wes confirms their suspicions, Lauren loses it. She calls him a liar and is rightfully upset. Wes makes the decision to leave before Lauren tells him she forgives him. He drives away in the van but not before they share a kiss. Hopefully, he’s not leaving forever.

#2. Eclipse helps the Cartel.

Eclipse (Sean Teale) gets a call from Carmen (Michelle Veintimilla) letting him know she’s ready to collect on that deal they made. If you remember, she helped him find out where Polaris (Emma Dumont) was being held. The mistake Eclipse made was telling Polaris and Thunderbird (Blair Redford) he’d go to get supplies. He needed an excuse to get away. Polaris isn’t stupid though. When she calls to check up on him she finds out that he never went to get supplies. Polaris isn’t too happy when she sees Eclipse blow up a truck and Carmen kiss Eclipse on the cheek. At least he returned to the underground with supplies and cash, right?

#3. Thunderbird tracks down Blink.

Much to Dreamer’s (Elena Satine) dismay, Thunderbird goes out to find Blink (Jamie Chung). He finds her and tells her that he wants to make things up to her for what happened. Blink is resistant but allows him to help her. She’s looking for the road that she kept going to when she was sick. They finally located it and the farmhouse where Blink left her friends. Thunderbird tells her to be careful because he got a vision that Sentinel Services has been there. They have to bust in the house and once inside discover a gruesome scene. Whoever Blink left behind appears to be dead now. Thunderbird is left to comfort Blink in the wake of what they found.

#4. Girl power.

Polaris enlists Dreamer’s help to figure out where Eclipse went when she couldn’t find him. These two working together are definitely a force to be reckoned with. Polaris is able to suspend men in mid-air while Dreamer gets their thoughts. They track down Eclipse and watch him blow up a truck. Polaris then makes the decision that her baby daddy is on his own. She feels betrayed and we can’t blame her. What she doesn’t know is Eclipse only made this deal so he could get her back.

#5. Dr. Doom is up to no good.

Dr. Campbell (Garret Dillahunt) proves that there isn’t much he won’t do to get things his way. When he suggests to Agent Turner (Cody Bell) that they should send mutant agents out in the field to infiltrate the underground, Tuner immediately says no. He doesn’t feel that mutants should be set free for any purpose. In a meeting with the District Attorney, Campbell tries to make his case again by having a mutant cause her an attack. There was no warning as to what was happening, she just went down. We don’t think Agent Turner knew what he was getting himself into signing up to work with this guy.

#6. Family issues.

Reed is once again facing issues communicating with his children. This time it’s Lauren. She’s not happy when her dad tells her that he wants to question her current love interest. What girl is? Lauren tells Reed that he hasn’t changed. She feels like he still sees mutants as the enemy. It’s hard for him to change all of his thoughts and feelings but he needs to for his family’s sake. He’s working with Sage (Hayley Lovitt) to try to figure out what they are doing to turn mutants against mutants but that isn’t enough. He has to show his kids that he loves and supports them in spite of their gifts.
