Movie Trailer Roundup: October 6-13, 2017
Welcome to the Pure Fandom movie trailer roundup! This will be your hub for the latest movie trailers, all in one article. We are a community, so if there’s something you want to see in any week’s edition, just give us a mention on Twitter @srichards31 or @Pure_Fandom.
Another week, another trailer roundup! This is the most extensive trailer recap you’ll find anywhere on the internet. Every trailer is definitely featured in this roundup. There definitely wasn’t any trailer that came out this week that deserves its own article on Pure Fandom. Enjoy!
The Good
Wheelman (NSFW)
Netflix has thrown all kinds of money into its production company (that’s why your membership fee is going up). The original program has been a huge success, to say the least, so it’s time to start trusting the movie division. Wheelman looks like a simple bank robbery shoot-em-up but could be entertaining. I’m willing to give it a shot.
The Bad
Justice League
Justice League has been getting all kinds of bad press recently, thanks to Ben Affleck and Jason Momoa. This latest trailer is its best attempt to suppress that and get some good press ahead of the release in a month. Unlike the success of Netflix, DC has only proven to be underwhelming other than Wonder Woman. I’ll probably still see the movie in theaters, but I won’t be expecting too much. It’s the best way to be pleasantly surprised!
The Ugly
Replicas
Oh, you want to show me a movie that seems completely plausible with technology, and then show me how it can all backfire and robots can take over the world? PASS.
Outside of that I’m just not a huge fan of Keanu Reeves. When you make one of the stars of the Bill & Ted franchise a scientist who has figured out cloning I’ll call that a stretch. DOUBLE PASS.
