Dylan O’Brien: Goodbye Stiles – Hello Mitch Rapp

It is such a bittersweet time for fans of Teen Wolf and fans of Dylan O’Brien. We are beyond excited to see what DOB (and the rest of the amazing cast) are up to next, but we are so sad to see them leave Beacon Hills behind. But we aren’t just saying goodbye to Teen Wolf, we are saying hello to our new Dylan O’Brien based obsession – American Assassin, which hits theaters September 15th!

The DOB-centric landscape of social media (particularly twitter) has been adjusting to this change too. DOB super fans have been trading in their profile pics of Stiles with his blue jeep and button up flannels for Mitch Rapp’s scruffy facial hair, t-shirts and sharp shooter pose. American Assassin fever has taken over and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

For Dylan O’Brien’s fans, saying goodbye to Stiles is going to suck, but having something to focus on takes the sting out. DOB is hitting the press tour hard for American Assassin and we are pumped to check it out (and you should be too)! Here is a pic of him and Tyler Posey lookin’ like total snacks at the American Assassin premiere. See – it’s hard to be sad when you have this to look at!

Stiles being absent for most of Season 6B has also prepped us for life without the beloved, snarky Stiles. It wasn’t just the skinny kid that we fell hard for, it was the charming fella playing him. We aren’t just Stiles obsessed, we are Dylan O’Brien invested and we plan to follow him on his sure to be AMAZING career.

So in this month of DOB awesomeness, we say – Goodbye Stiles! We love you and we will miss you. Thank you for always reminding us to find the humor in dark situations and that it’s okay to make mistakes. It’s what makes us human.

On September 15th we say – Hello Mitch Rapp! He’s a little dark and broody, but we can’t wait to see what Dylan can do with him! It will be an action packed flick and (based on the early buzz), it will become a hit franchise. If you still aren’t convinced, check out the trailer:
