The Bold Type Season Finale: “Carry the Weight” spoiler free review

Tonights the night, Bold Types. It may be the last time we ever spend a new hour with Jane, Kat, and Sutton. (#RenewTheBoldType!) We know you cannot wait for tonight’s finale, so we’re here to give you just a tiny hint at what’s to come.

Awkwardness. Man, we really cringed at a certain scene in the finale. You will know it when you see it. Things get pretty awkward for one of our favorite ladies.

Milestones. One of the bold ladies hits a pretty significant career milestone, but she doesn’t react how you might expect.

Sneaky Sneaky. One couple sneaks some kisses in the stairwell at Scarlet. But will they be caught?

Tears. The Bold Type tackles some serious stuff tonight, guys. Bring the tissues. You’re sure to be inspired by at least one woman’s strength tonight.

Decisions. One member of our trio is torn between two very appealing options.

Is this the end? Season one ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, but it can totally work as a series finale if need be. (But, please, let this not be necessary!)

Relationship Scorecard:

Janestripe: 0/10

Kadena: 5/10

Suttard: 5/10

Salex: 5/10

That’s all we can say. But seriously, friends, tonight’s episode is one for the TV history books. You’re going to love it. It’s one of our favorites from the entire season, which is quite an accomplishment because we’ve adored every episode of this amazing show.

If you can, please tune in live tonight. Live tweet, use the hashtag, make your friends watch. Do everything you can because the world cannot lose The Bold Type right now, and especially not when it’s just getting started. Let’s make Freeform realize just how colossal of a mistake losing this show would be.

We’ll be campaigning right there with you, so come find us on Twitter – @Pure_Fandom and @reagandpierce. And if you’re in need of a pre-finale refresher, check out our episode recaps.
