Midnight, Texas exclusive clip: Season 1, Episode 6, “Blinded By the Light,” Airing Aug 28, 2017

Things are heating up in Midnight, and we don’t just mean the couples! As Joe discussed in previous episodes, the veil between Hell and Midnight is thinning. Everyone in Midnight knows that the town is special, but learning that a literal gateway to Hell is opening beneath them isn’t going to go over well. As Rev mentions in the exclusive first look clip below, the fraying veil is drawing darkness to Midnight and drawing it out in the Midnighters themselves. Not good.

Check out the official episode synopsis from NBC:

When a local girl goes missing, the Midnighters try to find her before law enforcement descends into town. Manfred (François Arnaud) and Creek (Sarah Ramos) discover Aubrey’s murder was not an isolated incident — someone or something is killing young women in Midnight. In the race to find the missing girl, Bobo (Dylan Bruce) resolves to get justice for Aubrey. Lem (Peter Mensah) and Olivia (Arielle Kebbel) join the hunt, not knowing if the killer is human or supernatural. Complicating matters, Fiji (Parisa Fitz-Henley) is haunted by a demonic entity and seeks answers from the Rev (Yul Vázquez) while Joe (Jason Lewis) struggles to maintain the secret that protects his family.

In other words, tonight’s episode is going to be crazy and we can’t wait! In 1×05, we saw the crack in the ground just outside of Manfred’s house. Manfred’s house is also where Fiji was attacked by that crazy demon. Manfred was able to use that old skull to destroy – or so he thinks. Something tells us that Manfred’s house is going to be ground zero for the darkness that is coming for the Midnighters!
