Leo (July 23 – August 22) – House Lannister
This one’s fairly obvious. Leos are typically intelligent and loyal, and they like to be the center of attention. These traits describe most of the Lannisters; Cersei definitely craves power and wants and believes she deserves the Iron Throne. Tyrion also craves power, and he uses his intelligence to obtain it. And as far as loyalty is concerned, despite being known across Westeros as the biggest traitor alive, Jaime remains loyal to his family even when they’re at each others’ throats.
Lannister Leos are happiest when they have the spotlight and an endless supply of wine.
Virgo (August 23 – September 22) – House Baelish
Virgo’s are typically analytical, hardworking, and practical. Baelish is always one step ahead of his enemies and his allies, gathering information and strategically putting that knowledge to use. Despite his humble beginnings, he worked hard and eventually became one of the most powerful officials in King’s Landing. Ever the practical man, he always puts his ambitions before sentiment.
Baelish Virgos are happiest when they get what they rightfully deserve. Which is everything.
Libra (September 23 – October 22) – House Tyrell
Libras are lovers of beauty, harmony, and peace. Highgarden is described as a beautiful castle filled with lush vegetation, vibrant flowers, and a bounty of musicians. It’s as idyllic and peaceful as you can get – at least in Westeros. And the Tyrells themselves are considered to be great beauties.
Tyrell Libras are happiest when surrounded by beautiful people, sumptuous food, and an Instagram-worthy scenic backdrop.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 21) – House Targaryen
Scorpios are strong, commanding, and ambitious. Though many of the characters in Game of Thrones are ambitious, none of them have the strength of will and the commanding presence of our girl Dany. She has faced adversity time and time again, but she always comes out of each obstacle stronger and more determined than ever.
Targaryen Scorpios are happiest when they are conquering the world and looking fine doing it.
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21) – The Wildlings
Sagittarius people are often consumed by wanderlust and are jovial people who don’t like to be pinned down. Unlike the “kneelers” on the other side of the Wall, the Wildlings appoint leaders of their own choosing. While some live in settled villages, many are nomadic, constantly on the move for their next hunt or raid. Despite living in an extreme environment, they also know how to have a good time, whether it’s in a fight or enjoying drinks around a campfire.
Wildling Sagittarii are happiest when they’re sticking it to the man and doing whatever the hell they want because they’re their own boss.
Capricorn (December 22 – January 19) – House Stark
Capricorns are determined, practical, and responsible. Despite making some questionable decisions (like becoming Robert’s Hand), most of the Starks are responsible, making the hard choices for the greater good. We can see this in Ned when he agrees to become Hand of the King. We see it in Jon when he puts his work as the Commander of the Night’s Watch before his friends, and we see it in Robb when he marries his wife after bedding her (though if he married a Frey, we could have avoided the deaths of some beloved characters). And when it comes to determination, no one is more determined than Arya who tirelessly worked to become a Faceless Man and continues to repeat the names of those she wants dead nearly every night.
Stark Capricorns are happiest when they’re working towards a worthy goal and telling others “I told you so” when they don’t heed their warnings about winter coming.
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18) – House Martell
Aquarius people have a strong sense of justice and are incredibly affectionate. Oberyn Martell has each of these traits in spades. He’s very affectionate – the Dornish don’t have hangups about sexuality like some of the Westerosi do. He’s also very determined to see that justice is served. He came to King’s Landing to get justice for the death of his sister, Elia, who was raped and killed by Ser Gregor Clegane.
Martell Aquarians are happiest when they’re fighting for what’s right and partaking in epic cuddle-sessions.
Pisces (February 19 – March 20) – House Tully
Pisces are known to be sensitive and incredibly intuitive. Although Catelyn Stark will have zero compassion for you if you harm her children or happen to be Jon Snow, she has a lot of empathy towards others. Cat has also shown herself to be intuitive, sensing something was off during the ill-fated Red Wedding.
Tully Pisces are happiest when they’re helping others and when their husband’s bastard son gets sent to the Wall.
Aries (March 21 – April 19) – The Dothraki
Aries are often energetic, daring, and passionate people. The Dothraki are probably some of the most energetic people in Westeros, traveling for weeks on end and still managing to throw long and wild parties. They’re also very daring and passionate, relishing the thrill of a battle with a worthy foe or a steamy romp with a lover.
Dothraki Aries are happiest when they’re satiating all their desires. Preferably all at once if possible.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20) – Night’s Watch
Those born under the sign of Taurus are typically reliable, patient, and practical. Though they’re not technically a house, the men of the Night’s Watch are some of the most patient people in Westeros, having to man and guard the Wall. Although not every member of the Night’s Watch is dependable, as a group they can be counted on to protect the Wall. They’re also practical, making the best out of their less than ideal situation. As the last line of defense between the White Walkers and the people of the Seven Kingdoms, they have and will continue to stand their ground against the coming night.
Night’s Watch Taurus are happiest when they fulfill their oaths and do right by their brothers-in-arms.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20) – House Baratheon
Gemini are known to have two-different personalities; they can be incredibly sociable and are usually down to party, but they can turn at the drop of a hat, becoming serious and restless. These traits best describe House Baratheon, particularly Robert Baratheon. The former King of the Iron Throne loved a night of drinking and partaking in pleasures of the flesh. That’s partly why he had so many illegitimate children. Although he was a party animal, he would suddenly turn somber at the mention of his love Lyanna or the numerous threats to his family and his crown.
Baratheon Gemini are happiest when they are hosting a party and languorously eating a wild boar that narrowly gored them.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22) – House Greyjoy
Those born under the Cancer sign are typically tenacious, loyal, and like to keep to their close circle of family and friends. Greyjoys look out for their own and aren’t a fan of outsiders. They’re also incredibly dedicated – they have to be in order to successfully rule the Iron Islands and conquer the seas. Look to Yara as your role model; through her steadfast determination, she managed to gain respect and make a name for herself in a world primarily dominated by men.
Greyjoy Cancers are happiest when they’re surrounded by their loyal crew.
