DC fans, rejoice! Zack Synder shared a photo of Amber Heard in full Mera-garb while filming Justice League in Iceland. It’s said that Heard will play a small role in Justice League, leading up to a bigger debut in the Aquaman solo film scheduled for 2018. Take a look at the photo of Heard as Mera (AKA Queen of Atlantis and Aquaman’s wifey) and the official concept art below:
At a first glance, the outfit looks pretty badass. If Heard’s character is anything like how Gal Gadot is portrayed as Wonder Woman, we’re pumped. In our opinion, the female stars of the DC universe in this film series is one thing the franchise is getting right … Although, we were pleasantly surprised by Baffleck in Batman V Superman. We have hopes for his solo film, as well as Justice League. Plus, Mamoa looks straight-up badass as Aquaman, so let’s all hope he Khal Drogo’s the shit out of that role.
