5 Malfoy traits we want Felton to give Julian Dorn

We totally love the idea of Tom Felton hopping on the crazy train to Central City and assuming the role of CSI Investigator Julian Dorn. If you think about it, he really should be used to riding crazy trains by now.

When Tom Felton portrayed Draco Malfoy, he delivered to us a deliciously villainous wizard that many hated to admit they loved and even more loved to admit that they hated. Regardless of your stand on the slimy son of Slytherin, Draco was not without redeeming qualities.

Whether you love the bad dudes, or you love to hate the bad dudes, they create the necessary friction off of which our beloved heroes play. With that in mind, here are five Malfoy traits we hope to see Tom Felton bring to The Flash‘s CSI, Julian Dorn:

1. His ability to get out of the way of danger

Draco Malfoy may have tried to pass himself off as tough and intimidating, but his bravado didn’t stand in the way of common sense when it came to dodging danger. Self-preservation is an awesome motivator! With Central City’s status unknown because of the paradox Barry created when he went back in time and changed history, it is hard to tell what sort of evils will lurk about the streets. As a crime scene investigator, being able to dash out of the way of peril would be particularly pertinent.

2. His distaste for mudbloods.

Now, don’t go getting your panties all in a bunch. I’m not promoting racism of any shape, color or size. I’m simply stating that in a world that could very possibly be overrun by metas, a distaste for that which isn’t 100 percent pure human could come in handy when all the nasties come to town.

3. His ability to deduce

As a CSI, it would be quite valuable to Julian Dorn if he acquires Malfoy’s knack for deductive reasoning. Sometimes the answers aren’t spelled out for us, and being able to put various unconnected clues together and come up with a reasonable solution can be incredibly helpful.

4. His ability to take it like a man

When your work has you going toe-to-toe with the bad guys all day long, the outcome isn’t always going to be in your favor. So, being able to take a beating like a man will enable you to hold onto some of your dignity back at the office.

5. His respect for authority

Every job comes with a chain of command. It is important to respect that hierarchy and report improper behavior to the appropriate official. The higher you sit on the food chain, the more likely you’ll be able to deflect to the lower ranks. The person imparting the information in the first place, as Malfoy often did, will earn brownie points with the higher ups and will receive favorable pardon when the sh!t starts to hit the fan.

These are just some of the traits Draco Malfoy possessed that would come in handy for Julian Dorn. What traits do you believe could be of use? Share them in the comments below.
