SDCC Exclusive: Cas Anvar Talks Bloodsuckers and ‘The Expanse’ Season 2
The very talented Cas Anvar joins Brad and Cort to talk about Syfy’s The Expanse. Cas talks about his character Alex Kamal and gives some hints about his character on The Strain and more.
About Cas
Cas is a Canadian born TV, movie, and voice-over actor. He is currently filming the second season of Alcon Entertainment’s flagship show, The Expanse. Cas’ role as Alex Kamal has been expanded on the network’s most expensive original show in the history of SyFy.
The actor’s previous credits include his work in Oscar winning feature film Argo (garnering a SAG “Outstanding Performance” Award). He also co-starred in Sci-Fi adventure Source Code, suspense thriller The Factory, and co-starring in Steven Spielberg’s The Terminal opposite Tom Hanks, Catherine Zeta Jones and Stanley Tucci. His TV work includes guest appearances on NCIS: LA and Intelligence, USA network’s In Plain Sight , TNT’s Leverage, Fox’s 24, ABC’s Castle, co-hosting PBS 2015 Christmas special to resounding critical acclaim and as the lead character in SyFy’s 2015 series, Olympus. We’re excited about his upcoming arc on FX’s vampire thriller The Strain, which will be entering it’s third season when it returns.
