BREAKING! HBO releases ‘Game of Thrones’ “Battle of the Bastards” photos
OMFG, we can’t wait for this Sunday’s episode, “Battle of the Bastards”. We swear to the old gods, the new gods, the fire gods, and whoever TF else there is in Westeros, if they kill Jon Snow again …
HBO has been kind enough to release photos of the episode, of course revealing no major spoilers; however showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have said this is the biggest battle the show has ever shot. Yes; this may be a better battle than the white-walker one of last season.
First reported by EW, the eight photos show which characters will be highlighted in the sure-to-be-epic episode:
Here’s a weary Jon Snow (Kit Harington), another of Snow facing down storming cavalry charge, a furious Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju), a shot of Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) on his horse, another of Ser Davos (Liam Cunningham), a charging Wun Wun, and a shot of Jon with his sister Sansa (Sophie Turner). The episode was directed by Miguel Sapochnik, who also helmed last year’s stunning “Hardhome” battle. —Entertainment Weekly
