#WCW: Get to know Lauren Cohan

For today’s Woman Crush Wednesday, we bring you the indomitable Lauren Cohan. Few women have dominated the screen in as many of our favorite shows as Ms. Cohan. Currently, she plays Maggie Greene on The Walking Dead, but her previous turns have included Rose on The Vampire Diaries and Bela Talbot on Supernatural.

Whether she’s cutting her way through zombie hords, running from an Original vampire, or stealing supernatural items, Lauren’s giving it 100%. Not that you shouldn’t in those situations, if you want to, you know, survive.

As Liz & Lindi discussed in their spoilers post, Maggie’s role in The Walking Dead has the potential for many twists the rest of this season, depending on whether they follow the comic books. Wherever they take Maggie, she’s going to own it because she’s fierce as f**k. Which, let’s be honest, isn’t easy in a zombie apocalypse setting with writers who seem to just get a kick out of toying with our emotions. Okay, so I’m still not over Hershel. Or Beth. Shoot me.

What’s next for our Lauren? Oh nothing big. Just a casual turn as Martha Wayne in Batman v Superman. You know, BATMAN’S MOM. Oh, and in a wink to my fellow Walking Dead fans, guess who is playing her husband and Bruce Wayne’s father?

WHAT?!?! Dying.

Cheers to you, Lauren. You’ve stolen our hearts in so many of our favorite shows, you were an obvious choice for #WCW.
