Nothing makes a good show even better quite like awesome music. Tom Ellis was perfect and the chemistry between Lucifer and Chloe (Lauren German) was outstanding. Lucifer’s music department created just the right playlist to introduce Lucifer Morningstar to a new audience. Take a listen to some of these lyrics. Couldn’t think of a more fitting selection. Jump right in with “The boy with the broken halo” because as we saw in last night’s pilot there truly ain’t no rest for the wicked.

1. Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked – Cage the Elephant

2. Fame – David Bowie

3. Howlin’ for You – The Black Keys

4. Devil’s Haircut – Beck

5.  Burial (feat. Pusha T, Moody Good, & TrollPhace) – Yogi & Skrillex

6. Sinister Kid – The Black Keys

7. Always Something – Cage the Elephant

Lucifer airs Mondays on FOX at 9/8c. Check out the premiere recap and share your thoughts!

A lover of words and moving pictures, I'm a fangirl from way back. Seriously—I grew up watching Daytime TV from my granny's knee. It was Knots Landing over Dynasty, and BtVS over pretty much everything else. I watch entirely too much television and am quite happy sitting in an empty movie theater on a rainy day. And if we’re talking bromances, there's no bromance quite like the Winchesters. Cort has been writing since she can remember and podcasting for nearly 10 years with @bradzb.
