‘Teen Wolf’ promo video for “Codominance”

Jeff Davis said early on that episode 5×13: “Codominance” would be all about Kira, which, well… wasn’t exactly enticing to me since her character hasn’t been that interesting since season 3B, but the Teen Wolf promo video for the episode gives me hope it’ll be entertaining!

Kira has been MIA since before the final episode of 5A, when she decided it would be better for everyone (including me) if she removed herself from the Dread Doctors equation and tried to sort out her kitsune-induced teen angst. Hey, at 17 it’s hard to juggle an obtuse boyfriend AND a misbehaving fox that makes you look like the bear from The Revenant is your new spirit animal.

The synopsis for the episode is the following:

“Kira and her mother take extreme measures to help Kira deal with her dark side while Lydia is surprised at Eichen House.”

And you can see (some of) it being brought to life in the short promo video!

*rubs eyes warily* Is Meredith being murdered on the ground what is supposed to “surprise” Lydia? Because I’d warrant her (dreamed up or not) co-banshee being brutally slaughtered might score a “terrified” or “flabbergasted” on the Surprise Lydia scale.

Meanwhile, Scott and Stiles seem to be on a Kira rescue mission, “If we can’t help you, you’ll stay and become one of us. FOREVER.” says one of the Skin-walkers, pretty ominously might I add. Sounds good to me, guys! Surprisingly, the Skin-walkers sound like robots, which I was not expecting after doing some research on what kind of creatures they are.

Malia and Theo are fighting struggling to come to some kind of agreement since he can help her find the Desert Wolf (and Deaton) and she’s understandably reluctant. More importantly though, everyone’s fave is back!!

Are Kira and her mother going to be able to beat the Skin-walkers? What was the goal of their encounter, anyway? Can someone do a make-up tutorial of their facial paint because hello, Halloween opportunities! (One can never plan one’s Halloween costume too early). Is Malia really going to use Theo as an ally? Girl, he already lost you your boyfriend, I know you two have crazy chemistry but let’s not, okay?

Check back in for answers to all these questions after “Codominance” airs next Tuesday!

With a double major in engineering and fangirling, Cecile frequently feels like she lives in the wrong time zone and has become increasingly familiar with sleep deprivation. The fact that she hates coffee doesn’t help, either. Her super powers include convincing friends to watch and become obsessed with 'Teen Wolf', one adorable Stiles GIF-set at a time.
