‘Teen Wolf’ music: 5×12 “Damnatio Memoriae”

Welcome back to Teen Wolf Music Madness™! This week the show has blessed us with seven (seven!!) songs, which you’ll find below. Make sure to listen to these glorious Teen Wolf songs when you read the episode recap later today!

“Religion” by Howard

Deputy Clarke did not take too kindly to Hayden disappearing for 3 days and is being an overprotective mama-bear. (Or should I say, adoptive mama-chimera?). “Religion” plays while they’re both in the car en route to a housecall that involves the new shadowy villain: La Bete.

“Bada Boom, Bada Bling” by Caleb Hawley

Oh, Scotty. As he forever tries to better himself, this Caleb Hawley song is the background music when the crime board Scott had been trying to set up falls apart. You can’t win ’em all, buddy.

“Rapid Fire” by Black Tiger Sex Machine & DEAD BATTERY

Please no one give Theo a teaching job, ever. Ironically enough, “Rapid Fire” plays when Theo suggests Josh use electricity to “feel again”. I’m not sure being electrocuted was what Josh had in mind, though.

“Shout” by NITEPPL

You know that feeling when your crush somehow rose from the dead and you’re attempting an approach, and you realize you’re on a major ramble-athon but you can’t do anything about it? This unfortunately happens to Mason, to the dulcet tones of “Shout”.

“Bloodstream” (Arty Remix) by Ed Sheeran & Rudimental

Sometimes Teen Wolf does subtle. Sometimes it does not. This song can be heard as Scott tries to patch up his (quite frankly disgusting) wound. Again.

“Exorcism” by Clairity

Ahhh, young love. Kidding, this scene was probably the one I liked the least in the episode, but the song was nice at least. It plays as Hayden tells Liam he’s “the only thing that feels right.” If the title is any indication though, things might not go that smoothly for this tween couple.

“Howling” by Nathan Bell

Get out the tissues, because this Nathan Bell song is the background music to cementing Scott and Stiles’ reconciliation. The pack is back!

Unfortunately it isn’t available online yet, but you can listen to the 6 other songs on repeat instead! Tune back in next week for more Teen Wolf songs to add to your playlist.

With a double major in engineering and fangirling, Cecile frequently feels like she lives in the wrong time zone and has become increasingly familiar with sleep deprivation. The fact that she hates coffee doesn’t help, either. Her super powers include convincing friends to watch and become obsessed with 'Teen Wolf', one adorable Stiles GIF-set at a time.
