‘Outlander’ season 2 teaser trailer: Our favorite time-traveling Sassenach and her lover are back

Calling all Outlander fans! It’s nearly that time to put away your kilts and grab a fancy hat. Doesn’t Claire (Caitriona Balfe) look gorgeous in her high society threads (pictured above)? Our seemingly endless Droughtlandia is nearing its end as heralded by our first glimpse of the season two teaser trailer.
When last we left, Claire and Jamie (Sam Heughan) they were on the run and leaving Scotland in their rearview. Well, Scotland and all of the intrigue and trauma that nearly tore them apart. In the short teaser, the Frasers’ bond appears as strong as ever.
It wouldn’t be Outlander without a bit of courtly intrigue and treason. War and the future of Scotland is at stake. Plus, there’s the matter of their bundle of joy and Claire’s past or rather her future in the past.
As the trailer proposes, can they change the past and save their future. “You tell me, Sassenach. You’re the one from the future.” Chills! I can’t wait for the show to return just to hear Jamie call her “Sassenach”…and at some point see his lovely knees in that kilt.
