It was expected but it’s awesome news nonetheless: MTV has confirmed that both Teen Wolf and The Shannara Chronicles will hold panels during this year’s New York Comic Con (NYCC) in October.

From the official press release:

New York, NY (September 17, 2015)— MTV announced today that “Teen Wolf” will return to New York Comic Con with a panel featuring producers and cast on Friday, October 9 while epic Sci-Fi/Fantasy drama, “The Shannara Chronicles” will make its highly anticipated convention debut on Saturday, October 10. Each can’t-miss panel will feature cast and producers from the shows and give fans exclusive first-looks at the upcoming seasons for each show.

While we don’t know exactly who from the cast will appear, some of the leads will certainly be present. (Teen Wolf already had a panel back in 2013, building up anticipation for its season 3B, featuring Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Posey, Linden Ashby, and Jeff Davis).

Me too, Dylan, me too.

Teen Wolf will have been filming for little over a month when the panel happens, but since the press release promises an ” exclusive first look,” we can maybe hope for a teaser trailer (yay!), and any cast/producers input is always great. Maybe the show will even go back to its signature teaser trailers that don’t exactly show actual footage from future episodes but do tease the themes to come in an exciting, novel way.

Be sure to check out the videos and interviews that will pop up soon after the panel, too. This is happening in less than a month, guys, I can’t wait!

Teen Wolf returns to MTV with new episodes in January, 2016.

With a double major in engineering and fangirling, Cecile frequently feels like she lives in the wrong time zone and has become increasingly familiar with sleep deprivation. The fact that she hates coffee doesn’t help, either. Her super powers include convincing friends to watch and become obsessed with 'Teen Wolf', one adorable Stiles GIF-set at a time.
