Best moments from the ‘Teen Wolf’ season 5 supertease

A few weeks ago, before we knew, well, anything about season 5, MTV released a chilling trailer that made us worry about everyone. Fast-forward to this week and post-seeing the first two episodes (which a number of elements in the trailer came from) and we get a “supertease” for the remaining episodes. Which, believe it or not, is even more anxiety-inducing than the first trailer. Here are a few of the most alarming interesting scenes from the new footage and what they might mean! Brace yourselves guys, because trust me you are not ready.

Jeff Davis mentioned back in March that Kira might be having some (technical) issues with her kitsune powers, and while she has clearly mastered the art of accessorizing her sword (where can I get one of these btw, they seem quite practical) …

… the fox figure protecting her seems to have become more problematic.

Is she still in control or is the trickster spirit living up to its reputation? Speaking of control, Lydia’s learning how to fight and who could be a better teacher than one Deputy Jordan Parrish?

Sweaty, half-naked, intense, training sessions won’t lead to anything more, right? Nah. It’s not like they’ve been dancing around each other for months or anything. In any case, this explains all the ninja moves from the season premiere cold open, and I couldn’t be happier that Lydia’s finally coming into her own.

In fact, all the girls are kicking ass and if this scene is anything to go by, Malia’s not taking the menacing presence of the Doctors lying down.

To be honest, it looks like they might be the ones needing a short nap after she’s done with them. Malia isn’t the only one willing to fight to save her friends, but this next contender seems to be worming his way deeper and deeper into Scott’s pack despite Stiles’ misgivings about him ….

“Let me help. It doesn’t mean I have to be a part of the pack, like you’ve accepted me or anything like that.” – Theo Raeken, who most definitely does want to be a part of the pack and be accepted.

Stiles who, incidentally, seems to be unravelling Nogitsune-style. Those hand tremors? Yikes.

What mistakes is he talking about? What couldn’t he rise above of and let go of, à la Scott? Who couldn’t he forgive? Does this have anything to do with the scene in “Creatures of the Night” where Donovan threatens the Sheriff? WHAT IS HAPPENING? I NEED ANSWERS Y’ALL!

Which leads us to this cincher.

If anyone’s looking for me, I’ll be crying into my Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough tub of ice cream, don’t worry.

Don’t miss the third episode of Teen Wolf, “Dreamcatchers,” July 6 on MTV.

With a double major in engineering and fangirling, Cecile frequently feels like she lives in the wrong time zone and has become increasingly familiar with sleep deprivation. The fact that she hates coffee doesn’t help, either. Her super powers include convincing friends to watch and become obsessed with 'Teen Wolf', one adorable Stiles GIF-set at a time.
