In the latest episode of The Vampire Diaries we saw Stefan, Damon, and Elena use the best of their abilities to help push Caroline to flip her humanity switch back on; Damon and Elena playing a game of “What If…” as they discuss their future together if they were human; Bonnie attempting to destroy the Ascendant which leads to mama Salvatore retaliating and leads Elena to find the cure; Lily slaughtering an innocent man (original rippah returns?), leaving Enzo to pick up the pieces; and lastly, Damon announcing that he’ll take the cure with Elena, to live a normal, happy, human life. OMG!
