Guess who’s back? Back again? John is back. Tell a friend…thank you Eminem. Constantine is back and we can now see the long-awaited Part 2 of “The Saint of Last Resorts”. So what’s new since we last saw John Constantine in action? Entertainment Weekly has reported that Constantine is floundering but it is not cancelled. I firmly believe the show was in a terrible time slot. Well guess what else is new? Constantine is now on at 8/7c. This earlier time slot can be nothing but good. If you are a party animal, you can watch it while you are getting ready to hit the bars. If you are lame with no social life, you can catch the show before your pathetic butt hits the bed. Perfect.
Here is a short recap of what happened in Part Uno: Something was stealing babies in Mexico City. John and Chas go to investigate where they find Anne Marie is right with God. There’s a demon disguised as a nun that John kills in the sewers and another demon shows up. Anne Marie saves the babies, shoots John and leaves him in the sewers to be killed by a demon of the rising darkness. End of episode 8. Now everyone sit and wait impatiently until mid-January to see if he lives or dies.
